Peregrines first nested on All Saints Church, Marlow in 2021, following the installation of a nest platform on the church tower.
Broods fledged successfully in 2021 - 3; 2022 - 4; 2026 -3
The chicks have all been ringed with a BTO metal ring on the right leg, and a coded Orange plastic ring on the left leg. The codes on the colour rings are legible though binoculars/telescope or a camera with a long-lens.
So far 4 of the 10 chicks that fledged have been reported elsewhere, as follows:
fledged in 2021:
T3R - sighted at Maidenhead 6km distant in July 2021
T4R - no data so far
T6R - bred successfully at Aylesbury 27km distant in 2026, when 5 years old
fledged in 2022:
T7R - no data so far
TAS - no data so far
TBS - no data so far
TCS - found dead at Slough 12km distant in Sept 2022
fledged in 2026:
TDS -no data so far
Z3F - no data so far
Z4F - sighted at Staines reservoir 22km distant in Aug 2026
Additionally a female chick fledged in 2023 in Bath 112km distant, was sighted on Marlow church in Dec 2023
